Glutathione Nasal Spray is a compounded product prepared by a U.S.-licensed compounding pharmacy following an individualized medical evaluation. Compounded drugs are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. This summary does not replace guidance from your prescribing clinician.
How to use
- Use only as directed by your EOS Health-affiliated clinician, at the prescribed number of sprays and frequency.
- Prime the pump before first use as instructed. Blow your nose gently, then insert the tip into one nostril and spray while breathing in gently.
- Keep the bottle upright, wipe the tip after each use, and do not share the device with anyone else.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Before you start
- Tell your clinician about your medical history, allergies, and any existing conditions, and about all medications and supplements you take.
- Let your clinician know if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Mention any nasal or sinus conditions, recent nasal surgery, frequent nosebleeds, or a known sensitivity to glutathione or any ingredient in the formulation.
Allergic reactions
- Watch for signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these symptoms. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
Possible side effects
- Local effects may include nasal irritation, stinging or burning, congestion, runny nose, sneezing, or an altered sense of taste or smell.
- Report any unusual or persistent side effects to your clinician promptly.
Precautions
- Do not use on broken or irritated nasal tissue unless your clinician advises otherwise.
- Store as directed and keep out of reach of children.
- Individual responses vary — follow professional guidance and do not adjust your dose on your own.
