NAD+ products are generally considered safe when administered properly. As with any medical treatment, there may be risks and potential side effects. Here are some important safety points to consider:

  1. Application Site Reactions: For nasal spray, mild nasal irritation, slight burning sensation, headache, or fatigue may occur and typically resolve as your body adjusts.
  2. Allergic Reactions: Although rare, some individuals may experience allergic reactions. If you notice rash, itching, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
  3. Interactions with Medications: NAD+ products may interact with certain medications. Always inform your EOS Health-affiliated provider about any other drugs you're taking.
  4. Underlying Health Conditions: Use caution if you have liver disease, gallbladder issues, or gout. Consult with your provider before undergoing NAD+ therapy if you have underlying health conditions.
  5. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: The safety of compounded NAD+ during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been established. Use only under medical supervision.
  6. Long-Term Effects: While generally well-tolerated, more research is needed to fully understand long-term effects.
