Compounded Semaglutide + B12 combines a once-weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist with vitamin B12 in a single injection. The semaglutide acts on a hormone pathway involved in appetite and digestion, and B12 is included for its role in energy metabolism.

Key Features

One-hormone mechanism: Semaglutide acts on the GLP-1 receptor, a pathway involved in satiety signaling and gastric emptying.

Vitamin B12 included: B12 has a role in red blood cell production and energy metabolism, and is built into the formulation rather than taken separately.

Appetite and fullness: Acts on the signals that regulate hunger and how long you feel full after eating.

Blood sugar regulation: Influences insulin and glucagon signaling as part of how the medication acts on metabolism.

Once-weekly dosing: One subcutaneous injection per week. No daily pills.

Clinician-supervised: A U.S.-licensed clinician reviews your intake, sets your starting dose, and stays reachable throughout treatment.

Clinically proven. Personally delivered.

GLP-1 receptor agonists act on hormone pathways involved in appetite and digestion. Whether one fits you depends on your health history, current medications, and a licensed clinician's review — which is where every EOS protocol starts.

Beyond the scale

Steadier blood sugar, better energy, and improved metabolic markers come with the weight.

The protocol favors fat loss while helping you hold onto the muscle that keeps you strong.

Preserves Lean Muscle

Unlike crash diets, GLP-1 therapy helps your body preferentially burn fat while maintaining the muscle mass that keeps you strong.

Common questions, answered.

How do I store and inject the medication?

Your medication arrives as a bright pink solution in a multi-dose vial. Refrigerate it promptly upon arrival and keep it stored in the refrigerator between uses.

Each week, use a new insulin syringe to draw the prescribed amount and inject subcutaneously into the fatty tissue of your abdomen or thigh. Clean the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab before each draw, inject air into the vial equal to the volume you're withdrawing, then invert and pull back the plunger to fill the syringe.

Note: your vial will appear less than full — this is normal. Vials are designed to hold up to 5 mL but are filled with 0.5–2 mL of solution. Detailed instructions are included with your shipment, and your EOS Health clinician is available if you have questions.

How much do I inject each week?

Your prescribing clinician determines the right dose for you based on your health profile and goals. Doses are measured in units on an insulin syringe — for reference, 5 units equals 0.05 mL and 25 units equals 0.25 mL. Always follow the dosing instructions provided by your EOS Health provider, and reach out if anything is unclear before your first injection.

What if I miss a dose?

Semaglutide is injected on the same day each week. If you miss a dose, inject it as soon as possible — as long as it's within 5 days of your scheduled day. If more than 5 days have passed, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule the following week.

If you've missed doses for more than 2 consecutive weeks, contact your EOS Health clinician before resuming — a dose adjustment may be appropriate.

What are the most common side effects?

The most frequently reported side effect is nausea, particularly when starting treatment or after a dose increase. Injecting in the evening near bedtime can help you sleep through the worst of it. Constipation or diarrhea may also occur.

The B12 in this formulation is specifically included to help reduce nausea. If symptoms are severe or persistent, contact your EOS Health clinician — prescription anti-nausea medication is available when needed.

Why am I not losing weight?

Semaglutide works best alongside meaningful lifestyle changes. A low-inflammatory diet — emphasizing fresh vegetables, fruits, omega-3s, and lean protein while limiting processed foods, refined carbohydrates, and saturated fats — can significantly amplify your results. Aim for 30–45 minutes of aerobic exercise and 10–25 minutes of resistance training four to five times per week.

Adequate protein intake is also essential to protect lean muscle during weight loss. If you're not seeing the progress you expect, connect with your EOS Health clinician to review your plan and explore adjustments.

How long should I stay on this medication?

A minimum of six months is recommended. This timeframe allows your body to reduce systemic inflammation, restore optimal insulin function, and establish sustainable metabolic patterns. Clinical studies suggest patients who combine semaglutide with lifestyle changes can lose 15% or more of their body weight over this period.

Your EOS Health clinician will work with you to determine the right duration based on your progress and goals.

Who should not use Compounded Semaglutide?

This medication is contraindicated if you or a first-degree family member has been diagnosed with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2 (MEN 2) or Medullary Thyroid Cancer. Inform your clinician if you have a history of pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, or Type 1 diabetes.

This medication should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Discontinue at least two months before attempting to conceive. Your intake questionnaire and clinical review are designed to screen for these factors before treatment begins.

Is compounded semaglutide safe?

Compounded semaglutide used at EOS Health is prepared by FDA-registered, cGMP-certified compounding pharmacies. The active ingredient is sourced from domestic API manufacturers and does not contain a salt form attached to the molecule. Every compounded batch is sent to an independent, third-party testing facility to verify potency, sterility, and safety before shipment.

Your treatment is also supervised by a board-certified clinician from intake through your entire treatment journey — not just at the start.

What if my medication gets warm during shipping?

No cause for concern. Compounded semaglutide has been verified to maintain full potency, sterility, and stability after exposure to room temperature and even elevated temperatures during transit. Refrigerate your vial promptly upon arrival and continue use as directed — the medication inside is unaffected.
