Anti-Aging Bundle — Important Safety Information
Generally well-tolerated when properly prescribed. Mild injection-site reactions are most common; watch for rare allergic reactions.
Compounded drugs are permitted to be prescribed under federal law, but are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing review. Your EOS Health-affiliated provider may recommend this medication based on your individual medical evaluation.
The Anti-Aging Bundle includes three injectable medications: NAD+, Glutathione, and Lipo-B (MIC + B12). The safety information for each is below.
NAD+
NAD+ injections are generally considered safe when administered properly. However, as with any medical treatment, there may be risks and potential side effects.
- Injection Site Reactions: Mild bruising or soreness at the injection site is the most common side effect. This typically resolves on its own.
- Allergic Reactions: Although rare, some individuals may experience allergic reactions. If you notice rash, itching, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
- Interactions with Medications: Always inform your EOS Health-affiliated provider about any other drugs you're taking.
- Underlying Health Conditions: Consult with your provider before undergoing NAD+ therapy if you have underlying health conditions.
- Long-Term Effects: While generally well-tolerated, more research is needed to fully understand long-term effects.
Glutathione
1. Consult a Healthcare Professional
- Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any glutathione supplementation or treatment.
- Discuss your medical history, allergies, and any existing health conditions.
- Ensure that Glutathione injections are appropriate for your specific needs.
2. Injection Site Care
- If self-administering injections, follow proper techniques for injection site preparation and administration.
- Sterilize the injection site and use a clean needle.
- Rotate injection sites to prevent tissue damage or irritation.
3. Allergic Reactions
- Monitor for signs of allergic reactions, such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any adverse reactions.
4. Dosage and Frequency
- Follow the prescribed dosage and frequency recommended by your EOS Health-affiliated provider.
- Avoid excessive doses, as high levels of glutathione can have unintended effects.
5. Side Effects
- Common side effects may include pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site.
- Report any unusual or severe side effects promptly.
Remember that individual responses to glutathione injections can vary, and it's essential to prioritize safety and follow professional guidance.
Lipo-B (MIC + B12)
What is Lipo-B? Lipo-B combines lipotropic compounds with vitamin B12. "MIC" stands for Methionine, Inositol, and Choline, which may help the body break down and process fat. Vitamin B12 supports energy production, metabolic function, and nerve health.
How It Works
- Combines vitamin B12 with a lipotropic complex (MIC) that may support fat metabolism.
- Methionine, Inositol, and Choline may support metabolism and help the liver process fat.
- Vitamin B12 supports cell health, energy production, and red blood cell formation.
- These components may support bile flow and overall liver function.
Safety Considerations
- Lipo-B injections are generally considered safe.
- Potential side effects may include mild pain or discomfort at the injection site, nausea, or mild fatigue.
- Always consult your EOS Health-affiliated provider before starting any health-related treatment.
You are encouraged to report negative side effects of prescription products to the FDA. Visit www.fda.gov/medwatch or call 1-800-FDA-1088.
